Inhouse championship

We are holding an in-house championship tournament on Sunday 1st February 16:30 to 19:30. This will be free of charge and there will be medals for 1st 2nd and 3rd place competitors.

If you are able to make a small cash donation on the day, we will give this to the Willen Hospice charity which our club already makes a regular donation to.

If you don’t want to take part in the tournament but you usually train during this time, please come along as a spectator. Parents are also welcome to join as spectators.

Please not that we will only have 1 mat. This means that we are limited to the number of events we can hold during this 3-hour period. We will therefore give priority to students who register soonest. We will of course try to let everyone who registers take part.

    In signing this form, it is accepted and understood that the competitor will agree to abide by the competition’s rules and they accept the judges’ decision to be final. If he or she enters the kumite event they agree to wear full safety gear, and they understand that whilst all efforts will be made to ensure safety, karate is a contact sport and there is a risk of personal injury.
