I can’t believe it’s December and quickly approaching Christmas! We will be taking some club holidays, I have a business trip and we have some events coming up in January and February.
- A reminder that there will be no junior or cadet classes this Sunday 7th December, as I will be taking my 4th Dan grading in liverpool.
Training dates over Christmas and new year
- Sun 21st of December adult morning class 10-12, evening class ALL grades and ages 16:30 to 18:00 (due to the Liesure Center closing ealry).
- Thurs 25th of December, no training
- Sun 28th of December, no training
- Thurs 1st of January, no training
- Sun 4th of January adult training at my home dojo from 10 till 12, juniors and cadet training for all ages and grades from 17:00 to 18:30
- Thurs 8th of January no training (business trip)
- Sun 11th of January no training (business trip)
- Back to the normal schedule and training commencing from the Thurs 15th of January

In house tournament
1st February 2026 16:30 to 19:30
We will be holding an in-house tournament at Shenley Leisure Centre. This will include
- kata
- kumite (sparring)
Everyone is invited to join and we will only charge a small fee to cover the costs. The sparring will be no-contact for under 14s (ippon kumite) and semi contact for over 14s (Irikumi), More details coming soon.
February grading
We will hold the next club grading in February, dates and times TBC.
